In 1945, admist the changing Indian scenario, a determined young man formed a company that would forever bridge the gap between occidental sophistication and oriental orthodoxy. That young pioneer was Mr. K.K.Grover, and the company he formed was the Hindustan Export & Import Corporation Pvt. Ltd.
Small in size, but with big plans, this company's main two objectives were to bring state-of-the-art equipments and technical know-how to indian industries through imports, and to stimulate Indian exports and give it the impetus it required.
